Requirements for Successful Partnerships between
School and Community Organizations
Collaboration should be focused on student learning which inspires them to take action in their community.
Community and school partnerships are mutually beneficial with transparent communication, before, during and after the experience. Ultimately creating synergy.
How Partnerships Work: Our community partner-teacher collaborations will achieve mutual desired outcomes through open, honest and concise communication based on trust and mutual respect. Information is exchanged in preparation to ensure success.
Develop Desired Outcomes: Being Responsive to student driven inquiry. We can impact the students most when we have mutual ongoing collaboration, identify goals that relate to growth (social and academic) of the child and then backwards mapping to ensure those goals are met.
